    Panniers/pillion rails

    Hi all.

I've recently brought a 2017 model and the previous owner has removed the pillion grab handles that the panniers secure to but has a givi top box rack. Does anyone know where I can pick up the grab handles or of a decent aftermarket luggage rack and panniers?
I'm in the UK of that helps answers.

    Thanks.

Ebay usually has grab rails for sale, but more often than not sold individually.

Prices range dependant on condition, but typically from what I've seen this is cosmetic / paint fade or damage as opposed to functional or structural issues.

If your so inclined you could probably pick up a pair for pretty cheap, rub down and rattle can if needed.

You can source new genuine parts - but of course they come with the hefty price tag.

Yea found some from abroad but we're badly scratched and still about £50-£100 each, then Kawasaki panniers would just be too much. I've gone for some Oxford soft panniers instead.

    Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

That's the way I went. I don't use panniers often, so the expense of hard bags couldn't be justified.

Plus my model bike has an ugly frame for hard bags.
