    2011 zx1000 2000 miles on clock keeps spluttering and some time cutting out towards a junction been told could need mapping has it has had a 4 in to 1 system on it would this be the case ???
    Any help towards this would be appreciated

    I've got a 4-1 way.And it runs great.the ecu is pretty adaptable to changes to the A/f by the lambada sensor..i would try reset the ecu back to factory by the manual.if still same clean injectors spark plugs type problem

    Hi all,just a quick question,I have a 2017,sx,all standard,except for a pair of Yoish.end cans,is it worthwhile having the ECU,flashed,will it make any difference,ie,smother on pick up,get rid of the first four gear restrictions,not interested in more power or noise,just a smother ride,any suggestions would be helpful.

    I have an 18 plate and just went up to a 16t front sprocket yesterday,made the bike so much smoother everywhere,can't believe they did not leave the factory like that.

    flash do improve alittle and with decat it certainly do.not the bench flash the dyno with it will peak your bike to full potential

    Thats an 11 year old bike with 2k on the clock.
    Stands to reason that at some point, and quite possibly on more than one occasion, it has been idle for months or even years.
    I would say it needs re-comissioning.
    First let me ask, has it any history of an air filter change or full service?
    If so, what is the service history?
