Only had bike a few day's it will not start in gear with clutch pulled in I removed the connector from the clutch switch and bridged it but still will not start in gear anyone had this problem?

If the kick stand is down, it won't start in gear.

Also if the side stand is up and it still won't start up when in gear 1st check the side stand switch. If its faulty (stuck or has a damaged wire closing the circuit) the bike won't start when it's in gear as the ecu thinks the side stand is still down.

Thanks I have sorted it was a weak spring in the switch 🙂

But i thought you said you bridged the switch??

Which switch? Clutch or sidestand?

  I had the side stand down at first when I bridged it my mistake

   Not to worry, About a month ago, out with some buddies, stopped for fuel.
Came to re-start, and ..... nothing!!

Couple of my buddies came over, looking over the bike, checking this and that.
After about 10 or 15 mins of that, it was then that i noticed it... 

Somehow i had knocked the kill switch when i was getting on....   
They've only just stopped taking the p*** out of me for it.. 
It happens to us all !!!
