I just called for a price for the first annual service on mine this morning, coincidentally. Blade in Abingdon, £287
Two hours of changing parts that don't need changing. I'm tempted to use a local guy and just get an oil and filter change.

Seems like they're trying to pull a fast one with you. £280 seems a fair deal but anything more should be double checked.

Where are you based? Bacon's Kawasaki in London are incredibly reasonable as are Colchester.

Hope you can get some better quotes!

Just double checked.  There was no air filter change.  Oil, brake and coolant.

Air filter is due changing at 18k miles on my 2016 so thats unusual.
Brake fluid does need changing regular but i only do it every 3-4 years.
Manual says every two years. It literally takes 15mins and will cost you a few pounds in brake fluid.
To help you do it easier on your own you could use an Oxford solo bleeding kit. Sound investment if you ask me.
