Kawasaki 2018 Ninja H2 SX
« on: October 05, 2017, 01:06:16 PM »
I am reading various articles this morning (mainly from Facebook so it must be true) about Kawasaki producing a H2 GT version with higher bars, revised gearing and seat plus luggage options.

Don't know if this will be a reality but what a machine this would be, the big brother of the Z1000sx.

That's been rumoured since May '16, should know more when the bike shows (silly season) start at the end of the month  :038:

Not sure about the idea of it to be honest  :006:

It's an engineering marvel to be sure  :062: but it's not a sports bike and it certainly isn't a tourer IMO!

It's definitely on my bucket list to ride  :007: but nothing more than that for me...

Question: How do you guys really feel about where it sits in the market & what's your opinion  :027:

Fantastic piece of kit but I just don't get it in GT guise  :027:

If I was going touring then it wouldn't be on something that's gonna cost upwards of £25k

Doesn't the H2 have a very short (and expensive) service schedule along with short tyre lifespan. As great as it is I don't think it's a tourer of any sort.

It's not a real world bike IMO and never will be it's more of a show piece and for showing off on.  Excellent piece of engineering just a shame they never used the technology to make a ultimate all rounder with a realistic price tag

I can offically say it is gonna happen. Because i'm going to by a new z1000sx and the rep of Kawasaki told me: if you want something faster in the sports touring department, now is not a good time to buy a z1000sx. I can'y say much but is is going to be faster and more awesome than the z1000sx... But more expensive.

As soon as he said "more expensive", i ordered the z1000sx
