Like you guys I felt awkward having to take off the fairing, but all and all it turned out to be easy.
Thanks to the video on YouTube.

All done...

Well removed anyway, finished in the dark  :112:

Just got to remember how everything goes back together now and hope I can get it done in a day.

Wash and ACF50 everything, fit rad guard, replace Hugger, fairing back on, clean lube and adjust chain too!

Hopefully not too hungover in the morning after new year party  :092:

Bike needed for Wednesday morning commute...

Anyone have a bike I can borrow  :164:  :745:

Well, got as far as cleaning, coating in ACF and fitting Rad Guard  :164:

Coated Hugger in ACF50 too but that’s it, still needs putting back on the bike along with the fairings  :oh_no:

Have to wait until weekend now  :430:

Hi,
can anyone tell me if the front and rear extenders are supplied with the newer sticky pads?

Wondering if its worthwhile to get the glue as well if this is the case, have called Pyramid today (no answer) and also emailed them this am

thanks - sc00bie

Scoobie personally I wouldn't rely on sticky pads only, I'd glue them on.

Don't bother with the sticky pads mate. Use araldite. Clean,. Key stick together then clamp/weight and leave over night.

Scoobie just some further quick advice if your using araldite. Put tape on the edges of both extender and hugger and when applying the araldite dont go all the way to the edge of both as when. You squish them together it will come out the gap and on to the top surface of the hugger and extender.

It's a right pain to then remove and youll end up butchering the plastic trying to dig it out of the surface of the plastic.

Also don't be tempted to remove the weights/clamps too soon.

I also found brake cleaner or. Contact cleaner tldid a great job at cleaning the surfaces after I keyed them.

Ask me how I know!  :192: :019:

Scotty covers this well in. His first posts but I was too dumb to listen! You live an learn lol
