Has anyone installed the 'Windshield Adapter Kit' from Palmer Products (http://www.palmerproducts.co.uk/) on a Z1000SX yet? Would be interested in how it looks when fitted and how effective it is.

I put a link for this from ebay in the Taller screens thread.

I don't think anyone has fitted one yet, but here's a pic of what it looks like...

I've seen that on the website and it looks bloody awful. I was hoping that another angle might show it in a better light or is it a case of the reduction in wind blast is a reasonable trade off.

I think with some things you simply have to accept their function over form  :006: if that's what you value most...

Gonna give this a bump...

I see the OP has been inactive for 18 months.

Has anyone tried using a PP adaptor and got any thoughts good/bad/indifferent?

Pics may help too.

I'm on my third and maybe 4th different screen so wonder whether PP have the answer to noise, buffeting, etc, etc
