I've not done anything today but that's because I'm not collecting the new bike until tomorrow  :celebrate:

I got the Evotech rad guard ready waiting to fit but wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for a usb/voltmeter please?

Spotted this on Amazon but just wondered if there was any particular one people preferred?

Cheers

the usb/voltmeter is ok but I fitted standard socket so I can use portable pump  to check tyres easily.  :028:

All cleaned, prepped, new tyres fitted and scrubbed, ready for an European trip next week.  Just got to fit the panniers and go.   :830:

Don't know where you have the socket connected, but if it is through the 2 amp accessory fuse the pump will probably blow it. KD did this and cursed me for recommending a particular compressor. There was nothing wrong with it, just needed to be connected direct to the battery.

the socket wiring is taped to the wiring loom waiting to be hooked up which is connected to the fuze box.no blow outs when pumping up tyres. :028:

Got new tyres fitted for the SX's first European trip. Pirelli Angel GT2's.
Only done 100 miles or so scrubbing in, on mostly dry roads but seem pretty good so far....   :028:

Only just brought an SX with the touring package within the last week so have been adding bits onto it.
Part of the touring kit I was given the GPS mount, can't really afford to buy another TomTom and generally use my mobile as my GPS.
Saw something similar on this forum so I thought I would copy that person's idea by attaching a RAM mount to the mount.

I think the 400nm model was only £15 less and the cheaper ones didn't have enough torque for what we needed. The front sprocket certainly didn't put up much of a fight after that :008:

For the chain, I ordered the Kellermann KTW 2.5 from a store in Germany. They aren't well known over here but seem to make some quality products, and the tool is well received in the German market by all accounts. It has magnets on the plates which makes the job that little bit easier.

Toon if your still posting could you tell me if the kellerman tool you bought came with a riveting pin? The website seems to list some sort of part no in the description for a 'riveting lock set'.

This! Same dilemma, just fit the usb socket. For the pump all you have to do is set up a din socket direct from battery to under your tail section, you can then use it for a pump or trickle charger as I do.
