Thanks Darseyno1. Car was a 55th birthday present to myself, bit of a lifes ambition.

Robz1000sx, no. Lowered seat was only 5mm difference so did not go down that route. Seat was sculpted by Tony Archer.

Came in from a 194 mile run to find rear number plate lopsided.
1 bolt completely missing and a few turns of thread left on the other side, wouldn't have been long before I had lost the plate entirely.  :230:

Collected my new Performance Tourer!  :830:

Rode her 6 miles home and fitted all the crash protection and then nearly lost my  :230: at the lack of instructions for the Evotech rad guard but with help of threads from the forum and a sprinkle of brute bashing got it on in the end without braking anything!  :046:

Yeah I struggled with it for a bit too even contacted evotech. Found its much easier with the fairing off whilst I was fitting the engine guards too.

Finally got round to fitting Rad guard and Heated grips, weather was so shit here on Saturday I thought I might as well get them done. Info on here really useful now all set for my European trip in September -  Holland - Germany - Luxemburg - Belgium and France should be good.

With a fair amount of effort finally got the rust off the OEM chain plates, relubed with Muc off Extreme, cleaned the back wheel then went for a run.
No fling  :celebrate:
Not using WD40 chain lube again, it flings everywhere  :023:

Fitted a new air filter, bike is now at 11200 miles. An easy enough job and a wipe around with acf50 while the tank was raised.
The old filter didn’t look to bad.

I agree so now I use WD40 Chain WAX, much better application and virtually no flick off!
The rest of the WD40 range is really good so I’m glad I tried the wax before ditching the brand all together. After all, it’s WD40!!  :028:
Fully recommend the chain cleaner and bike wash too!
