Hello from the Cold North
on: 11 May 21, 12:14:25
Hi Gang

Quick hello from the North West of England. Waiting to pickup my Ninja SX1000 - hopefully this Saturday 16th. After researching and test riding for a wee while now I am getting rather giddy (and my good lady is actually relieved I have stopped spending all my spare time looking at bike porn  :001:).
Looking forward to keeping you updated and gleaning all the information and tips that I can - and pass some on if I have the answers.

Cheers  :031: :031:

Jim

Timmy_Biker (messed up copying you quote - oops!)

Got a great deal on 2021 one - not much more than a one year old model. Black with Green model. All the used ones that I liked had sold within days (V popular bike at the moment). Never spent so much on a bike but I will be retiring soon, so I thought why not  :celebrate: Cant wait for Saturday  :celebrate:

Hi JC59, Thats exiting, i never picked up a new bike before. Sounds like you got a good deal. The amount of 0 miles 2020 models for sale on the internet is astonishing! I guess the plandemic put the brakes on sales and the dealers were already over ordering, due to being caught short the previous year.
I am meeting some old biker buddies from the NW at the end of the month in Hereford. They come from Billinge (between St.Helens and Wigan) and surrounding areas. Nice ride up for me on my SX, hopefully with the new Leo Vince end cans on.
Keep us posted on your findings with the new bike. You will find some very helpful and knowledgable dudes here.  :028:

Got the new boy home now. Bit of a wet ride but still loved in (in wet mode of course)  :001:
