yeah I had mine done in Phillip McCallen's as well for the same money. Fantastic staff and great service. I was asked if I wanted to take any of the bikes out whilst my bike was being serviced, but I choose to walk around and chill out, that was when I seen shufflers bike sitting ready to go. it is plain to see that many of our biking buddies on here have been completely ripped off.

100% mate . Was asked the same . Left my bike in the night before as I was working next day . ‘What bike do you want, sure take it to practice at NW200 and il see ya later ‘ not many dealers would do that !

Following a ring round, thought I’d share the first (600 mile) service quotes from Kawasaki Dealers in South East & London for 2019 model.

CBS Whitton £194
Groombridge £180
Laguna £130
South London Kawasaki £250
Daytona £130
Alf’s £143.18
P&H £213 (offered 10% discount) when asked to price match after buying here.

Daytona offered to beat any better quotes, so on calling back, they beat Laguna with £125. Plus oil filter voucher will be about £110.

Hope this info helps! 😉

Really confused by the way some Kawasaki dealers can charge £30 but most are between £100 and £200. Surely Kawasaki dealers should all be in the same ball park especially for 1st and subsequent intermediate services?? The differences are quite shocking to me.

The guy there told me that from 2019 we no longer require the 3250 mile service.  It is now 7500 or annual.

Has anyone seen a definitive on this please?  The six monthly "inspection" type services seem way OTT.  Have they been scrapped?  Are people still following this service regime?   :828:

I have to say I think that there are some mixed messages coming from dealerships. Some, from reports on here, are saying that the next service after 600mls is the 7500, others the 3750 check.
When asked my dealership originally said it could void the warranty missing the 3750 check. Then when I later said I was off to tour in Europe so may exceed the 3750 limit, I was told that doing that kind of mileage that quickly I may as well get the 7500 mile service done slightly early?
Having said all that they were only going to charge £60 for the 3750 service anyway...

Thanks for your thoughts mate. I’m getting the same mixed messages, but I guess to be 100% compliant for the warranty you need to get that service book stamped..... Still seems crazy in this day and age a 6 month service interval  :112:

100% agree on both counts. Seems crazy but then wouldn't want to find the warranty void if something happened to go wrong  :005:

My local dealer Orwell Ipswich (bought bike here) £80 for 1st service and 3750 mile is basically a check over £40 but depending on what mileage you do it needs a annual oil & filter change for warranty
