600 mile service- Alfs Motorcycles, Worthing, Sussex, UK- bought from them and they gave free labour on 1st so only £41.00, said the next would either be £90 if just brake check etc or £150 for filter oil etc as well

I had Alf's complete the first service and it was £92 (and I didn't purchase the bike from them)!!  :001a: Very happy with the service there.

Also mentioned the 3750 service being a visual only service and was told that is correct however they will conduct a detailed inspection which includes taking the brakes & pads apart and cleaning them up.

Haven't had the 600 mile service yet as I only picked up me shiny new toy on sat, but was quoted £120 by Bristol Kawasaki (bought bike here) I'm sure i'll get it cheaper than this even if I dont get a dealer service!  :134:

Just had the 7500 service done at MCS in Renfrew where i bought the bike, £180.
A bit on the expensive side i thought as they didnt change the plugs, but i got the Versys 1000 demo as a courtesy bike to play with for the day, and have to admit its a nice bike.
It wont sway me away from the SX just yet though.....
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Preston Superbike: - First service £120.00, 4000 mile service £192.00. (of which £100.00 was labour costs).
Just noticed that the oil change with filter for the first service cost £46.74, the 4000 mile service oil change with filter cost £59.68 amazingly the sump capacity must have increased by 28% in the 3 months between services.

Deschouwers Motors (Eppegem).

Maintenance after 6000km (made it happen earlier as it was supposed to happen during the 8000km trip to Norway).
206 €. Also asked to check after a buzzing sound in the front at 4000rpm, and it's gone :) (don't know what it was tho).
They even cleaned the front & my temporary bi-xenon wire mess I was planning to fix this weekend.

when i bought the bike they said the 600mile service would cost £120? It only cost £90 in the end from Bransons yeovil. they said the 3000mile service isent needed as only tyres and brakes need cheaking but the 7000mile service would be £400 as the spark plugs are expensive.
