There's a lot of variation in costs dealers are charging for the servicing on the Z1000SX - examples on this forum range from (excluding the freebies from supplying dealer), £50 to £202 for a first 600 mile service.
Admin has agreed to make this a 'sticky', whereby members could post name of dealer, which service and what price, to allow other members to see where the best prices can be had - and save shopping around.

600 mile service quotes -
Motoplus Kawasaki, Coleraine - £80 (but then changed price to £157 when booking in)
McCallen, Lisburn - £130
MCO, Wigan - £202 (bike bought here)

I bought my bike from Colchester Kawasaki, friendly bunch, got my bike with a decent saving off list price and a good trade in for my bandit, get a 10% discount on all accessories and clothing as standard as i purchased bike from them, however they have given me more than that discount on several items i have purchased recently. Overall very happy with them so far. First service was £109, Orwell motorcycles in Ipswich wanted £125

I also bought mine from Colchester Kawasaki and just had my 4000 mile service today. Cost £149 but included the caliper check. I also got a set of tyres too, obviously not included in this price
Agree with Luke friendly lot, also get to watch MSS putting their BSB bikes together.

Bought mine from George White in Swindon.
My local kwak dealer in Carlisle wanted £180 for 600ml service, I took her to Honda main dealer (whom I know and also know the mechanic well) and gotthe 600ml service for £100, then got 3750ml brake check service free. Next service due next week at one year old with just over 4k on the clock and its costing me either £130 or £150 depending on oil used (semi synthetic or full synthetic) prob be £150, again local Kwak dealer wanted £180.
