Cheap Sunshade for Sat Nav
on: 12 Sep 20, 09:23:10
After deciding to ditch my old Android phone for nav purposes, i bought a TomTom Rider 550.
I came across this-

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SunShade-Visor-For-TomTom-Rider-500-550-410-450-420-42-Motorbike-Sat-Nav-GPS/401111748949

Its quite well made, attaches easily, doesnt come off when you hit a bump(I've tried it!)
and although we havn't had the sunny weather to try it out here in NE UK one thing extra
I think it would be good for- keeping the rain off your screen.

It's not bike specific and fits various sat nav models. and its just £7.95 with free p+p.

Shown fitted to my other bike a F800R

I've got one of those for my 400 Tomtom. Fits well and as you say it stays put.

The only fly in the ointment is if you want to use your sat nav in portrait mode! Look a bit odd.
