I'm not sure if your 2018 is the same as my 2014 model.

I've just removed my mirrors to add mirror extenders. Remove the 4 allen bolts that hold the black panel below the clocks. With this panel removed, you can then access the two 10mm bolts from underneath.

Just done mine, middle fairing panel off,the one with the decals, screen off,the windshield bracket cover is next, two bolts and two rivets, then the four bolts on the front of the clock surround, remove the dust cover and the big plug at the back of the clocks, that gives you access to the bolt underneath the loom, you can then manoeuvre the clocks out of the way to get access to the mirror nuts, still a bit fiddly, but a 1/4 inch ratchet and 4 inch extension will get them off, have to do this again today as my usb charge socket has gone south, couldn’t have done it on Sunday when I had it in bits the first time, grrrrr, hope this helps

yeah no worries mate, sounds extremely painful, was going to say i'm coming over to visit relatives in the near future, could have given you a hand if needed, let me know if you need a hand, but if you've fitted a usb charger, there's no more to take off than that, just getting at the mirror nuts is awkward,i found it best done with a 1/4 inch set up.
Did the manor farm used to be called the Wildfowler ?

do you know sooty thats probably the first time ive called it manor farm.
ive always called it 'fowler  short for wildfowler despite it being called manor farm for at least 10 years.
i live opposite.
