hello
on: 25 May 20, 07:54:24
just joined the forum i am in yorkshire my bike is a z1000sx lff which makes it a late 2014 reg but an actual 2015 model. i bought her last august as a cat n write off from surrey salvage. she was written off due to attempted theft of her panniers. the perpetrators attempted unsuccessfully to cut the front lugs off the panniers with a saw  only to find they are also locked onto the rails "dough"  at this age with 25k on clock she should have had new panniers but the insurance must of down graded her value due the the horrendous condition she was in. she appeared to have been kept outdoors in scotland from new never being covered up and never washed once. i have stripped and removed almost every single part down to engine in the frame not much has been left untouched although theres still more to do shes barely recognizable from last june. i will try upload some before and after pics
