Sorry to jump in but having just done this it may help others to know you can buy a pack of pins here 99p posted which is all you need to use the factory plugs.

Bare in mind the factory plugs are taped to the loom which can make them a little harder to locate. Be sure not to use the heated grip socket for your accessory socket as the fuse rating is higher, if your fitting a wired in satnav as well as power socket you can piggy back off the back of your power socket to supply satnav. I’m a bit OCD but would hate to buy a used bike to find that the factory plugs had been cut off but that’s just me.😎

thestig,
Did you ever find out if it was the connector for the power outlet? I see your picture and almost sure that you are right.... I did install it already but i didn't try it yet.... I'm installing the grip heater now but I'm having a hard time... I think i need to take off the meter cover.

Hello there,

After searching and asking what sort of connector does the N1K from 2020 have, I can sy that it is a 2 pin HM 090 connector, not 100% sure though. I've ordered a couple connectors to see if are the proper ones, if so I'll let it know in here.
