Tuono 1100 factory OR 1290-R? Did You Ever?

I moved from a 2014 ZSX to a Tuono V4 1100 RR 15 months ago and just love it, always a big grin when riding it
Don't get me wrong I loved the ZSX it's a brilliant bike, but the Aprilia is something else, only wished my riding ability matched the Tuono's

I had a MK1 Tuono.  Fantastic bike.  I doubt that it has much on common with the current v4.   I also had a Shiver and waited 8 weeks for an exhaust gasket at one point.  One thing that I learned is Italy shuts down for a Month in the summer.

I think they tend to have August off and the two months either side of it - considering how long it takes to get parts.

Well late replying to this I know but :-
I’ve been checking out Aprilia Tuono,s again.
I REALLY wanted to be convinced
Theres horror stories of the cylinder heads/ valve guides / spring problems.
Suffer & need new heads at low klms. I’ve researched again & wouldnt buy one still.
Amazing character in that engine but there’s a cost, in on going engine issues

I spoke to a guy with a Tuono factory at a local petrol station the other week, his bike was 4 ~years old, less than 10,000mils on it and it had spent 5 months in the bike shop in that time for various issues and has had lengthy waits for parts.
Got to be one of the best looking and sounding bikes around, if it’s a second bike like in this case then maybe not such an issue.

I'd like to know which parts have not been available for the TV4 (as a new TV4 2016 RR owner) to brace myself. I have not heard about this issue in any Aprilia forums. I wonder if those guys knew about sites such as https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu and https://www.bike-parts-aprilia.com. It's true that Aprilia parts are not as readily available everywhere as Kawasaki parts for example (my previous bike was Z900).
