Greetings
« on: November 10, 2019, 11:47:47 PM »
Hello from Oz.
Just wante to introduce myself. I just bought a 2012 Z1000sx with 40 kilometres on the clock!!. Belonged to an older gentleman with several bikes, and numerous cars, he never rode. So got her Serviced and put new rubber on, just in case, and went for the 55 profile as suggested here. Its my first Japanese bike in 20 years, ive been riding for 43, and i must say i'm loving the change.
Now for the up-grades, well, you have to don't you:-)
Tail tidy, dark front and rear indicators, tank pad, frame sliders and rim tape are on the way. Next up, exhaust, either slip ons or full system not sure yet, it appears Ivans re flash is also the way to go. New seat, probably Sergeant, carbon front and rear hugger, frame plugs etc etc.:-)
ive put a couple of pics up including my new Cal replica helmet, well i needed that and a new jacket as red doesn't go with green:-)
Any advice on any of the above is more than welcome:-)
