gipsymagpie joins the fold
« on: August 25, 2019, 09:19:23 PM »
Hi

I have bought a green 2016 for use on my 60 mile commute from Wiltshire to Cheltenham.  My poor previous 650 single couldn’t cut it.  The sound the SX made on my test ride sold the bike there and then (Akros fitted).

I am forever modding my bikes (it took a solid day to de-mod the last one).

So far I have the following (some courtesy of previous owner):

R&G tail tidy
Carbon Akros
Avon Storm 3D tyres
PDM60 electronic power distribution system
Heated vest connection
Garmin 595
Heated grips (Oxford)
Optimate connection
Evotech radiator guard
Givi tank ring plus TanklockED bag with 12v power (with disconnect)
R&G Bar ends
Helite airbag anchor

Planned upgrades

Scottoiler (e-system?)
LED light upgrade (side, main and dipped)
Bark busters for winter (with LED strips - transferred from last bike)
LED aux lights (subject to suitable mounting location)

 :031:

Already picked up loads of good gen from the posts

Looking forward to riding.

Welcome!

I have the x system, personally I think it's better than the system and less bulky. Have a set of bark busters curteousy of Mr which are also awsome during winter (I take them off in the summer).
