When I first noticed it on my 2018 I thought something had come loose. After checking that everything was tight I concluded "they're all like that Sir"  :oh_no:

Same here, the indicator stalks wave up and down like wings. I did the same O ring trick as some of the above before fitting a tail tidy for cosmetic reasons. Not a great idea if you ride in the rain as I found out after riding through a small puddle on an otherwise dry road. Screwing the original reflector on the bottom of the number plate and bending the tail tidy & plate out helps a little.
As a dry road leisure rider I'll leave as is but if there's ever a need to use in all weathers the original lump of ugly black plastic will be going back.
