Hi from Ilkestonrider
« on: July 09, 2019, 12:04:42 PM »
Hi, new to this forum and joined as I am looking to buy my first Z1000 SX.  Ride a Street Triple R at the moment but need something that is more comfortable on longer rides and motorway riding and there are also times on certain roads where I just wish I had a my old CBR600 underneath me.  Having looked at countless YouTube videos the SX seems to be my answer.  So.....just seeking some confirmation that I have made the right decision from current owners and then looking forward to being part of the SX community.  Currently living in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

I think if your expecting it to handle as nimbly as 600cc sport  like then.you might be disappointed  slightly. I came from a 650 and initially found it lardy and requiring much more effort to drop into a turn. Now though I love it to bits it does anything I want scratching pegs to carrying my luggage am not surprised its Kawi's best seller
