Transporting your Z1000sx
« on: June 24, 2019, 07:42:09 AM »
First timer here, hello all.

2015 Z1000sx.  Thinking it would be nice to load in a van, to take away and do some wild camping, be able to play with the bike...

Done loads of touring just on bike, but want to do a bit more as in take camping gear, cooking gear, hiking gear etc.  So a van is where my head is at.

Not keen on a trailer (hassle parking, storing, loading, less secure) ...

So, does anyone use a van (trackdays) that are easy to load/unload the Z?  A lighter bike may help but if there's an answer, keen to hear it/opinions.

Thanks all.

I have a Toyota Hiace. When I collected my new SX a couple of weeks ago I just loaded the bike into the back, strapped it down and drove home.
I have also used it extensively to carry a trackday GSXR 750 and I use it to transport my trail bike around the country or abroad.
