Hi Jim,

Sorry but you’re now 4th in line for the satnav mount.

I will keep you in mind though

Hi Shandy,
Thanks for the reply. Just let me know if the first two change their mind  :002:
How about the rad guard, I assume that would also fit a 2019, if still available?

Hi Yorkie,

I believe that it will fit, however there has been one change in that Kawasaki have filled in the cut out to help protect the swingarm I think.
Someone else on here may know more.

Dimensions are all the same though. So should fit

Now you're confusing me  :006: :006:
Why / how would a rad guard protect the swingarm??

 :431: it’s my poor wording.

Basically, if you look at the pictures I posted of the hugger you’ll see what looks like a half square shape cut out where the hugger meets the back of the bike.

If I remember correctly, this cutout allows space for the swingarm pivot (I may be wrong, it’s difficult to picture it without the bike to reference from) but that hole has been closed up on the 2017-19 models to help protect it from road spray in bad weather.

The actual hugger itself hasn’t changed size or shape and should still fit, you’ll just be missing that small upgrade to the hugger.

I hope that helps but I’d like it if an SX guru could help here  :440:
Just to highlight where I’m going wrong with this explanation, thanks!

 :430: what a total bell-end I’ve been!  :431:

Just re-read your post  :431:

I thought you said hugger, now I realise it’s the Rad Guard  :oh_no:

To answer your question, yes the Rad Guard would fit a 2019 SX. The Evotech website lists it as fitting all bikes 2010 onwards.

I’m such a  :164:

At least you now know about the hugger as well, if you are interested  :745:
