No the sloped champhered bit is on the oem, it's needed to engage the clutch switch, without it the bike will not work. I've got the oem in my hand but can't post a pick of it as just about to go out. The lever you have posted is not for a 2017+ bike and will not work.

Ahh looks like the design has changed again, see if anyone has a pic of the 2016 lever incase they reverted to that design again.

I'm not too sure, it's a posability but before buying I'd get some pics of one and compare to what you have, or look at the kawasaki microfiche and compare the part numbers.

I was bored so I've Been looking at Kawasaki's microfiche and its showing the same part number for the clutch lever for 2017 - 2019, Iv'e also looked at your picture a little closer and on the laptop, i can now see the champhferd section on yours that i didn't see yesterday

Kawasaki clutch lever part numbers are
2011 > 46092 - 0006
2012 > 46092 - 0006
2013 > 46092 - 0006
2014 > 46092 - 0006
2015 > 46092 - 0006
2016 > 46092 - 0006
2017 > 46092 - 0568
2018 > 46092 - 0568
2019 > 46092 - 0568

Ive taken some pics of my OEM lever that i took off and it's Identical to yours, It has the same ref code of KG973 just above the clutch switch contact.

One thing i do remember is the after market levers didn't come with the insert sleeve for the pivot bolt (the silver sleeve, I had to take that out the OEM lever to put into the after market one

i hope this helps.

Many thanks Scotty. Yes I know about the insert. Do you have a link to the levers now on your bike?

It's not the ones I bought (don't think seller is still going) but ebay item number 163597958021 looks to be the same correct design

Scotty, you won't believe this, those are the ones I bought from the same seller!
When I messaged them that the clutch lever did not fit and included the pic of my OEM lever, they told me their "technician" said the part was correct.
I think they sent the wrong levers, but they are adamant they did not.
Could not make this up.
