Phone case to fit Sat-nav mount
« on: April 27, 2019, 06:02:25 PM »
Hello Folks,
Recently bought a Z1000sx with the free touring pack. For the life of me I cannot find any phone cases anywhere that will fit the OEM sat nav bracket the came with the bike. Don't really want to remove it for a RAM mount and don't fancy laying out for a sat nav just yet, any ideas? Thanks

you need a tleferizer mount! if search for it on the forum you will find load of info. If you google bob telfer you will get his website and can call him to order the screen mount. Attaches to inside of windscreen and has a ram ball in the middle of it. put things right in your line of sight rather than having to look down. Free's up your sat nav mount for a sat nav when you get around to buying one.

You don't need to remove it for a RAM mount. You can attach a RAM ball to the OEM (SW Motech) plate.

I much prefer the positioning of the Telferizer for my TomTom Rider 2013 (no longer fully updateable and suffering from the GPS rollover date issue - just wanted a gentle rant).

Now that is exactly what I'm looking for and never thought of it either! Cheers for the heads up. Seriously debating now though at throwing some cash at a sat nav!

How about I replace the black bolt with another rusty one?
