Yes they are definitely open I know as they replied to me.

If you do not live/work, or travel often in Essex you will not be able to participate.

Got a reply maybe 6 days ago..asking me these questions to see if I qualified.

I did not.

Hi .......

Thank you for your email regarding our FireBike Advanced Machine Skills Course.

We are running the courses again this year, but the dates have yet to be finalised.

I have to point out however, that the Courses are intended primarily for those who live, work or who do a fair amount of riding within Essex. Clearly you do not qualify on residency, but I should be grateful if you would confirm your eligibility on one of the other grounds.

Kind regards

Andy

I Can confirm that they now are offering places for the Better Biking and Advanced Skills day Ninja.
Once you get a reply, don't leave it too long before you choose your dates as they get booked up quickly. Judging by the interest at the Shakedown today, even more so. Especially as i understand that Essex Police aren't running BikeSafe at the moment.

Thanks mate Sent another email over the weekend. So will wait on a reply. Yes sadly Essex police no longer offer bikesafe which I think is bonkers given what I learned but I understand funding is scarce! Shame though was really looking forward to attending again this year.
