All weather reviews are good, tbh I swore by BT Battlax on my ZZR1200, never missed a beat but the SX is a different animal, thought I'd go higher end tyres and see.

That R5 looks like an excellent wet tyre big deep tread pattern I would be worried that in the hot weather or track condition the edge would fold over fairly quickly...
Personally I like the sharpness of the Bridgestone but the stock S20 are fairly wooden in feel....I have run mine in this year on them been to NW200 and toured around Spain and France too....still got a few miles left in them....
New set for next season probably S21/22 as I am mainly looking for dry road performance....
That said tyres are such a personal thing....if they feel good go with them I say... :107:

For those worried about the stock tyres...

Here's a picture of me, in the rain, on a trackday, with the OEM tyres.  Didn't die!

Ok... a little bit more lean then! But even I'm not stupid enough to give it beans on a spankers bike in the rain!

Confidence the only issue... 45 degree lean angle in the wet should be achievable on a known surface...

I think that the original tyres are fine and after 11000 Kms in about 11 weeks, I'm replacing them with another pair (not OEM so it will be an interesting comparison). Here on the Wet Coast of Canada we do get decent precipitation so they get tested in the rain and I think they are fine. Interestingly, they are wearing out at exactly the same rate front and rear and the decision to replace them with the same has nothing to do with brand loyalty but price, as on sale a pair are available for $209 (about 140 pounds sterling). Great bike though and such a wonderful power delivery with no changes to fueling/pipes/air filter et al.
