My last 5 sets of tyres on the SX have been M7RR's, to be honest for the way I ride they are perfect for me. The grip levels come rain or shine are superb.
If you wanted higher mileage then no don't bother, but if you are after a tyre that gives great handling and grip in wet or dry conditions look no further. {IMO}
How many miles did you get on the front?

I don't keep a huge eye on the return rate of fronts but I have a current tyre on which has done 2000 miles, still has loads left on it {apps half worn} and the 2k miles includes a Picos mountain trip which was nothing but bend after bend.
My previous front is still in the garage awtg to go back on when a replacement tyre is due, That too has app 2500 miles on it and i would expect at least another 1500 out of that. so I am happy with the appx 4k out of the front given the type of riding I do and that rock solid confidence it gives me .

Hmm I'll be lucky if I get 2.5k out of the Bridgestone. Riding style is a factor of course. I recon 4k would be ok for a harder wearing tyre. Sporty bikes tend to be heavier on the front. I'll say this - I went out in the wet today and the Bridgestones were fine, even though the front is well worn. I was looking at profiles in M&P yesterday. I presume a pointy tyre will turn in more easily compared to a rounder profile. The Qualifier rear is almost triangular! The Avon I am comparing it with, much rounder. I would imagine the rounder profiles wear less quickly.

Angle GT's here from the start on my 2018 sx. I am touching 12k now; they still look fine but cornering is getting more bumpy. Will change them when the season starts.

Hi don't now if it's of interest but I have gone back to Michelin pilot power singe compound. Good trip in wet and dry plus they seem to be lasting ok. Currently 2500 miles and the rear is about half worn. Front is still good with plenty of tread and none of the squaring off.
Price wise i had them fitted for £224.00,  buy from ebay direct and a set is £150.00 ish.  Cheers mm  :028:

I find them fine for my style of riding. The bike came with s20 evos which fine until they wore a bit and the front squared off. Made the bike handle like a pig.
I think they probably are more orientated towards sports riding but I do touring as well and they are good.
Previous bikes of mine had pr4s which are good but nearly twice the price and I only ever managed around 6000 miles before they squared off.
Cheers mm
