Hello to you all
« on: December 10, 2018, 12:48:08 PM »
Morning All

I have purchased a 2016 sx so a newbie to the Kwacker world. Previously owned a triumph Tiger 800XC, and an all year rider, covering 40k miles on the tigger. Now going to use the Kwacker on my daily commute to work.

First thoughts are comfortable, fast, and looking forward to doing some mods. First one being a tail tidy and LED lights.

Look forward to some banter with you guys and gals

Welcome Shorty, if your going to be an all year round rider on the SX id re consider a tail tidy, or look at a modification such as flip down extender . In the wet your back will get soaked and you ass will look like you have a seepage problem (i know from experience) I've modified a hinge system to have a flip down extender for my tail tidy (also ride all year round)  it has made a world of difference. Others have used the same extender but just fixed it to the number plate and remove it when the roads are dry.

+1  :461: :460:

:401: I've got an Evotech Tail Tidy and had to fit an extender as mentioned above, it's not quite done the trick so I've also asked Santa for a rear Fender Extender!

Tail Tidy, great for summer,  :062: no so for winter  :190:

But LED lights are an absolute must for any pre 2017 bike. They were the first modification I made after joining the forum too  :028:

Enjoy the new bike and look forward to reading about how you get on, I also came from Triumph's...Never looked back  :830:

Cheers Guys. Already enjoying the welcomes and the quick responses and useful info.

Best extender ideas as I do like the look the tail tidy gives you
