Brake servicing.
« on: November 30, 2018, 09:35:02 PM »
Just done a thorough brake pad, caliper and piston clean on my bike. I used a Bikeservice motorcycle brake pad spreader which I got from Demon tweeks on ebay for 31 quid. Talk about making the job easier!. I've been doing this job on my bikes for donkeys years and have always used a toffee hammer shaft but decided to buy a specific tool and just wish I'd done it years ago. Just thought I would give the tool the heads up to others who may be contemplating doing theirs.
I did buy a cheap 6 quid job from ebay last week but it was big and cumbersome to use one handed (more suitable for cars) Ps I've no connection with the product or its vendors.
