Which Air Filter
« on: November 29, 2018, 06:45:50 PM »
I plan on changing the air filter over winter (probably put iridium plugs in while I am at it)
So which filter do people recommend ie oem K & N or does anyone have another recommendation.
Bike is 2017 with Yoshi slipon's with baffles still in.  :828: in advance.

K&N will save money after its first service and gets my vote  :028:
BMC are another good brand...

Might change how your Euro4 machine runs though, once it gets more air to its lungs  :027:

K&N for me too. You'll need to get some filter oil when it comes round to cleaning time but lifelong filter thereafter  :028:

Standard plugs are already iridium BTW.

I didn’t realise that, according to the service manual they are standard NGK. If they are iridium I won’t be changing them yet.  :828:

JUST double checked service manual and they are iridium.

It's why they are so expensive.  £9.99 in Halfords (not known for being particularly cheap) £12.99 in your motorcycle dealer.  😐
