Release comp hit against clutch cover bolt
« on: October 28, 2018, 10:01:44 AM »
Good day!
Changed the friction discs (original) to the EBC and springs to strong. Everything fell into place and everything seems cool but ....
After closing the clutch cover and adjusting the clutch cable, pressing the clutch lever, release comp hit against clutch cover bolt.
Who faced?
Z1000sx 2014
Thank you in advance!

Try a button head cap screw and see if you get the clearance you need.

I don't think that replacing original bolt is a good idea. It seems that the problem is not with the bolt.
Thanks any way.

Are you sure you got the stack height correct, should be 51.1 to 51.7mm.
