Same, I will either buy the 5s or the 0.1s for the bike, the bike has just over 4.5k on now, so most likely be early next year.

In for service weekend, having oil n filter changed, just that I know it’s all new. Bit over the miles, but was on tour.

Well had bike serviced today, n dealer tells me tyres require changing, will go with the 0.1 I think, any recommendations on where to buy I’m in Northampton.

Bike done 4540, and has just under 2mm thread on back tyre, stock.

Can't advise on where but would be keen to hear your thoughts once you've had some time with them as I'm leaning towards the 01s myself.

The angel GT and at have been my last 4 sets of tyres over 2 bikes and have to agree they are amazing. Not heard many people speak about them on the SX though. I must admit I'm leaning towards the 01 myself, so far I have found the stock suspension fine with a little added preload on the rear however once I've had the tyres changed I'm off to have it properly set up

If you do a quick search you will find lots of positive comments about the Angel GTs, including from me.  :001:
My current pair are at 7500 miles with about 2.5mm left front and rear. Because I do not do many motorway miles they are still reasonably rounded.

These were my favourite tyres on my SX prior to fitting 01's   :018:
Good in all conditions, hot/cold, wet & dry!!!!

I'm now about to fit my 3rd set of 01's on the bounce...kinda tells the story of my preference...to date!  :038:

Each to their own regards tyres, as it depends on how you ride, the roads you ride and the condition, time of year etc, etc, etc....blah, blah, blah  :008:

I would happily fit another set of GT's though & without hesitation if the price was right!  :028:

I will change after this set of 01's [in the spirit of experimentation] as there may be something better for me and I'm considering the RP5's, but want to see much more positive feedback on here first, detailing all year riding and average life expectancy...M7rr's are also on my list though  :oh_no: :027:  :008:

Looks like my next set will be Angel GTs or Roadtec 01s depending upon price.

It's great to have a choice of good tyres.

Did you buy the 01 in the end ? If so whats your impression of them. I'm still running the stock tyres after having my suspension properly setup which made a world of difference to they way they perform but its now time for the stock rubber to go before the weather gets much worse.

Yes I did, think they excellent, everyone says the bike will feel like a different bike, but I’m pretty sure no one believes it, till the change out the OEM tyres.

Bike feels so much better on corners, and through round-a-bouts, with the OEM bike always felt like it was falling into the round-about.

I will try the PR5 next, but they would have to go some to better theses, extremely happy with the 0.1 and would definitely recommend them.
