Hi all

I'm thinking of changing my stock levers to short adjustable and wondered if anyone has any info on these, my bike is a 2014 non abs sx.

It does suffer from the known slightly heavy clutch, as I've read in the forum this is normal for a non slipper type, so if anyone has fitted these do you struggle with clutch operation.

Hi Nobby,
I have a set on my 2014 and can't say that the operation is any different to stock.
Hope this helps  :490:

You could look at adjustable and foldable levers, Pleanty on fleabay, about £25 a pair. The quality is good, I've had them on 3 bikes for 9+years without a problem.

You can adjust the lever length fro short to long and anything in between, you can make the just the length that suits you and the weight of the clutch. Also saves you buying a set of fixed shorties to find you don't get on with them and have wasted your money.

Chinese levers have very good quality machining and great value for money.. The only problem I have heard of was the colour fades a bit after a few years IF you bike is stored outside.
I found the shorty brake lever great.but the clutch lacked a little bit of feel. So I went for adjustable length levers.
