Hi has anyone fitted a GI pro gear indicator and does the change seem instant mine seems to take 2 /2.5 seconds the dealer says this is normal but I've had them on other bikes and not had this problem

Yes mine changes straight away. The only thing I notice is that if you go down a few gears at a time like coming to a stop. It doesn't register your new gear until you release the clutch.

You need to do a custom set up.

Follow the instructions ... Very easy to do.

Ok thanks guys it's going back to the dealers on Monday they fitted it in the first place  with your info I can argue my case now

It really isn't hard to do yourself ... and you can get it right how you like it.
